Who We Are - Teatro per Caso

The Company Teatro per Caso (Theater by Chance) was established in October 1996.
It comprises of actresses and actors from different backgrounds and trainings.

The Company's activity is articulated in a series of proposals ranging from the production of innovative shows to street theatre, from didactics to children's theatre and to the realization of special site-specific projects.

It has participated in reputable national and international festivals and exhibitions and its artists have performed in Europe, Brazil, India, Balkans, Georgia, Armenia, Dubai, Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Kuwait and Macao.

Teatro per Caso today is a dynamic company with a solid unity.
The people who are part of it as actors, playwrights, directors, visual artists and musicians are formed on a national and international level.
Teatro per Caso has to its credit - participation in reputed national and international festivals of children's theater and street theater such as:
the Festival of Florianópolis (Brazil), the Daidogei World Cup festival in Shizuoka (Japan), the Gimcheon International Theatre Festival in Gimcheon (South Korea) and the International Theatre Festival in Wuhzen (China), Siam Festival in Bangkok (Thailand), Festival of Light in Kuwait City (Kuwait).

Since 2004, the company has been organizing the children's theatre festival "Teatro a gonfie vele" in seven municipalities of the Upper Garda Trentino region.

From these and other experiences the project of international solidarity "Laboratory of Smiles" was born. The project is aimed at street children and is carried out in India and in other countries around the world since 2006.
